Prince Harry would want one more sibling, max, for son Archie.
In a new British Vogue interview between the Duke of Sussex and Dr. Jane Goodall, he said that he wants two kids “maximum.”
“I think, weirdly, because of the people that I’ve met and the places that I’ve been fortunate enough to go to, I’ve always had a connection and a love for nature,” the 34-year-old new dad told the famed primatologist, adding that since becoming a father, “I view [the world] differently now, without question.”
He continued, “I’ve always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children … Two, maximum! But I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed. And, surely, being as intelligent as we all are, or as evolved as we all are supposed to be, we should be able to leave something better behind for the next generation.”
Harry’s wife Meghan Markle was the guest editor of the September issue of British Vogue, where the interview appeared.
Harry and Markle, 37, welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, in May 2019.
Harry’s older brother, Prince William, has three children with wife Kate Middleton.
