Tracy Morgan's $2M car hit 15 minutes after buying it
Tracy Morgan got in a car accident Tuesday, almost exactly five years after the comedian was nearly killed in a crash with a Walmart truck. TMZ reports "The Last O.G." star bought a 2012 Bugatti Veyron, worth around $2 million, at a New York dealership and then got side-swiped by a Honda CR-V just 15 minutes later -- with dealer plates still on. Morgan was not injured or ticketed, but he was certainly upset. "Thanks for any concern but I am totally fine. My NEW CAR? We shall see. Love you all," he tweeted afterwards.
The other driver, a 61-year-old woman named Jocelyn Madulid, told Page Six she was "traumatized" by Morgan yelling at her and banging on her SUV's window immediately after. “He was yelling at me, I got scared,” Madulid said. She added that she didn't know who Morgan was, and insisted he hit her car -- not the other way around.
The incident comes three days before the 5-year-anniversary of Morgan's involvement in a fatal crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, when a Walmart truck crashed into his limo van and killed his friend. Morgan was in critical condition, but survived to joke about it -- and receive a $90 million settlement.
