We’re as shocked as you are to learn Idris Elba eats carbs, but at least he has good taste in them.
Idris Elba, who you may know from such things as The Wire or Luther or being People’s Sexiest Man Alive, dropped by St-Viateur Bagel the other day — as one does.
Naturally, St-Viateur posted about it on Instagram. (Discerning readers will also notice that Elba is holding a cup from Café Olimpico down the street.)
Insofar as there’s no sign that Elba, who also appeared in the latest Fast and Furious spin-off and was awarded Britain’s “Rear of the Year” title in 2017, went to nearby Fairmount Bagel, it would appear he has taken sides in the Montreal bagel wars.
Will this sway the allegiances of Fairmount devotees? Probably not.
But one imagines neutrals and tourists might be swayed by the actor, professional kickboxer and DJ.
