TMZ says Jared Padalecki has been charged with two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication.
Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam Winchester on the long-running Vancouver-film television series Supernatural, is reportedly facing multiple charges following a ruckus outside an Austin, Texas bar early Sunday morning.
TMZ says Padalecki was arrested outside Stereotype, a 90s-themed bar that he is known to frequent, and has been charged with two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication.
A video obtained by TMZ, shows the 37-year-old actor engaged in a physical confrontation with another man before police arrive on the scene. Padalecki can then be seen leaning awkwardly on the hood of an SUV before being put into the back of police vehicle.
Supernatural, a dark fantasy series centring on the adventures of the ghost-hunting Winchester brothers, is currently shooting its 15th and final season in Vancouver.
The CW show, which also airs on CTV Sci-Fi in Canada, had its season premiere earlier this month and is scheduled to wrap up production in Vancouver on April 2 of next year.
