The body of an actor who once appeared on Seinfeld was found badly decomposed and eaten by vultures in Oregon.

According to the Daily Mail, the body of Charles Levin was found 30 feet down a steep slope in Cave Junction, Ore. The actor – who played the part of a nervous mohel in an episode of Seinfeld – was reported missing July 8 by his son, Jesse, after not hearing from him since June 28.

The man’s body was found July 13 off a remote road on a mountain that’s deemed dangerous to drive on by locals. According to police reports, Levin was deceased days before he was found.

He was believed to have fallen down a ravine when he attempted to call for help.

In the report, authorities noted Levin’s body was found naked and wedged between trees. His internal organs were missing.

It noted there “were signs of animal scavenging likely in the form of turkey vultures as there was evidence of bird feces on and around the body,” the Daily Mail reported.

Levin’s body was identified using dental records. His dog’s death was ruled accidental.

The 70-year-old actor’s car was found at the top of the ravine. The corpse of his pug was found inside.

Originally from Chicago, Levin was best known for playing the role of Elliot Novak on the sitcom Alice from 1976 to 1985, Page Six reported.

Other notable television and film credits include Night Court, Doogie Howser M.D., Annie Hall and This Is Spinal Tap.
